Privacy and Terms

Effective 2026-09-25. Wiser Memory is operated by EffectiveSC (“we”, “us”). This page covers the Wiser plugins and this website.

Privacy

A. What we collect through Wiser. Nothing. Wiser is software that runs inside the AI app you choose, on your own computer. It does not send your files, your prompts or its results to us. Your voice, your facts and your work are kept in the folders you choose, and the records Wiser keeps of its own connections stay on your computer. Wiser never asks for payment card, health or government ID details, and it never asks you to type a password or account key into a conversation.

B. Who else handles your data when you use Wiser. Your AI app’s provider, for example Anthropic or OpenAI, processes your conversations under its own privacy policy. If you connect an outside account, such as a Google or GitHub account, you approve it at that service or paste an access token on its sign-in provider’s page, and they handle that connection under their own policies. Some Wiser tools download software they need, such as code packages, a browser or speech-recognition model files, once you have allowed installs; the sites they download from see your computer’s internet address, as any download does. Wiser can also use an optional classifier that picks the right skill for a request. It runs only if you add a classifier key, which is not yet offered; when it runs, your request and the text of Wiser’s skills go to the classifier service and the third-party AI model behind it. We receive none of the rest.

C. What we collect on this website and by email. If you email support@wisermemory.com, we receive your address and your message, and use them only to answer you. The site measures visits and page speed with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which records things like the page viewed, the site you came from, and your browser, device type and country, without cookies. The site sets no cookies. We do not sell personal data or share it for advertising.

D. Who receives it and how long we keep it. Only the companies that host this site and our email, Cloudflare and Google, acting for us. We keep support emails while we are helping you and for up to two years after, then delete them from our mailbox; our email provider then removes deleted mail on its own schedule. Visit statistics are kept in aggregate.

E. Your choices. Email us to see, correct or delete anything we hold about you, and we will answer within 45 days. You can uninstall Wiser at any time, and disconnect any outside account from that service’s own settings.

F. Children. Wiser and this site are for general audiences aged 13 and over and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their information; if we learn we have, we delete it.

G. Do Not Track. We do not track visitors across other websites, so the site behaves the same whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track signal.

H. Changes. If this policy changes, we post the new version here with a new effective date.

Terms of use

1. Agreement. By using Wiser or this site, you agree to these terms.

2. License. Each Wiser plugin is provided under the license in its repository. The Wiser plugin is free for an individual, including at work; an organization rolling it out to its people needs a separate license from us. Domain plugins, such as legal and finance, carry their own license.

3. Your content. What you put into Wiser and what it produces for you are yours. You are responsible for having the right to use your material and for what you publish.

4. Check the output. Wiser uses AI, and AI can be wrong. Review what it produces before you rely on it. Wiser does not give legal, tax, financial or medical advice and does not replace a licensed professional.

5. Other services. Your AI app and any account you connect are governed by their own terms. Use Wiser within those terms, including your AI provider’s usage policy. We are not responsible for services we do not run.

6. Acceptable use. Use Wiser lawfully. Do not use it to harm, deceive or harass anyone. You must be at least 13, and if you are under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms.

7. No warranty. Wiser is provided as is, with no warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from Wiser or this site.

8. Changes and law. We may update these terms and will post the new version here. These terms are governed by the laws of Colorado, USA.
